Redskins Pickups in Honor of NFC East Champs

Wow, no one was more surprised by the Redskins winning the division than Redskins fans. Yeah, it was a terrible division, but it still counts. The incredibly young O-Line played well, Jordan Reed stayed healthy and Kirk Cousins stopped throwing interceptions for now. The above Jordan Reed is from 2013 Elite, a really nice acetate card that is pretty much all clear other than the photo, a card I have had for a while but never scanned until now. With one game left Reed has 83 catches for 907 yards and 11 touchdowns, one of the best years ever for a Redskins Tight End.

A super thick DeSean Jackson from Panini Clear Vision, a big heavy glass like card of a big name signing that actual worked for Washington

more actate with a super flimsy and thin DeSean Jackson card from Panini Prestige. Kind of weird design with a huge league logo, something only the NFL could get away with.

I broke my boycott on buying RGIII cards for this acetate base from Clear Vision, it's been a weird career for Griffin, and I will be glad next year when he a gone and can move on.

Keenan Robinson rookie card from back in 2012, the guy who took over for London Fletcher in 2014, but has been hurt for most of 2015.

I always try to add a Sean Taylor card whenever I can, another card my scanner hates.

Chris Neild, or The Pocono Punisher, selected 253rd overall, or second last, in 2011. Showed promise as a rookie, but injuries really derailed his career. Doesn't look like to was on an active roster in 2015.

Trent Dilfer listed with the Redskins, Classic did this for a few players before the draft, Washington ending up with Heath Shuler at number 3, Dilfer went to the Bucs at 6. Trent was never a great QB, but did play in one Pro-Bowl and won a Super Bowl. Shuler was so bad I don't even want to talk about it.

Two guys I have no memory of, and who probably wouldn't get cards in the hobby the way it is now. It's kind of neat how the photos were probably taken before the same game against the Giants.
