Judging by the amount of blogger posts featuring cards from the Japanese Sega Card-Gen set, I'm not the only one who picked up a few off the bay a few weeks ago. I limited myself to 3, the most expensive being the Brad Hawpe from 2010, my first from 2010 and the second highest "Star Level" I have, behind the 2013 Todd Helton. Christian Friedrich become my lowest card with only one star, a young lefty who has battled injuries the last couple seasons, but someone I still have hope for. Casey Blake retired during spring training of 2012, never playing in a regular season game for the Rockies, the completionist in me needed this card as it's the only one that lists him with Colorado.
Baseball card blog focusing on 1971 Topps, cards of catchers and the Colorado Rockies, sometimes drifting of into other areas or sports.

First Trade of 2013
The first trade of 2013 comes through Zistle.com, a nice size package of cards from the wantlist. A couple new cards for the Rockies pitchers batting collection, but the real highlight was the catchers, a Chris Iannetta and Jayhawk Owens for Rockies, and a couple Buster Posey cards, including a Bowman rookie and 2 more Triple Play puzzle pieces giving me 3 out of 9. The Jimmie Foxx with the old school mask close up and team listed as the Easton Farmers is a new favorite will go in the front of the catcher binder. Finished of by some 1995 Upper Deck, which is my favorite 90's set after 92 Pinnacle and one single 2011 Gypsy Queen closer to the set, and one football card, a 2012 Prestige DeAngelo Hall.
