The continuing saga of my most recent COMC package, staring Nolan Arenado and starting off with a case hit from Diamond Kings and starting a theme of Panini stuff.
Some serious shiny from 2019 Donruss
A shiny Zebra
and a shiny rookie card from 2013 Select
Some Topps shiny with a numbered to 5 for the Tommy Kahnle collection
My first Trevor Story auto, on-card, from my favorite brand, for just over $5.00? Sounds good to me.
A Black & Gold parallel with a Mountain Hat photo for the One of Every Rockies Collection
and finally Alan Cockrell, who would play in 1,414 minor league games, including 1,089 in Triple-A before finally making the majors and playing in 9 games with the Rockies in 1996.
I had never seen one of those 2019 DK Downtown inserts until now. Wow. That's a gorgeous card. It's a shame they only produced ten different cards (9 different teams) in that set. I would have loved to see a Matt Chapman (for the A's) and/or a Fernando Tatis Jr. (for the Padres).
ReplyDeleteP.S. Great deal on the Trevor Story autograph!
I love the look of the Arenado Elite inserts, and a #d/5 is always a good find. But I'm partial to the Cockrell because the Ravens were my hometown team. I'll have to find a copy of that card for myself one day.
ReplyDeleteNice pickups! Those Optic parallels are getting crazier each year
ReplyDeleteI guess I should say Prizm parallels...or just Panini parallels in general
