Sportlots Box Canadian Review Part 3 (Plus the actual Cards!)

The cards are here, no extra weird customs fees so the last post on total cost still stands. I really wish I would have done a video post of the opening, but I was too eager to get into the package. It came in a regular bubble envelope, and inside was what you see below.

Nine packages from the original sellers, some in posted PWEs and some in plain PWEs with no postage, probably from a bigger order sent into Sportlots. Everything was packed well with no damage, so this seems to work, and probably allows for cheaper processing as is it now stored by card (like the COMC model), but by package. That pretty much wraps that up, on to the good stuff.

COMC Black Friday Order Part III: Rockies

On to the Rockies portion of the COMC order, leading it off with a 2008 Finest Jeff Francis, so far this is one of two Rockies card I have found to show the World Series patch on the jersey making this photo from Game 1 of the 2007 World Series. More cards for the recently traded Alex White collection, I expected big things from him as a Rockie no such luck there as he was just traded to the Astros. I usually don't collection jersey cards, but I needed a Pomeranz, the Nolan Arenado was more for the auto and the Iannetta was more for the fu manchu. Finished up with a Charlie Hayes card with his football style mask, a Scott Elarton for "One of every Rockie", a Pomeranz Platinum National promo numbered to 499 and a couple Andres Galarraga cards printed on wood.

First Completed Trifectas

A spinoff from the COMC mailday, The Iannetta Marquee relic complete my first trifeca, it is a gorgeous card, super thick with a small piece of what looks like a letter, Topps really did a good job with last years Marquee. This goes along with the 2007 '52 auto and the 2006 Upper Deck Rookie card. All three of the Alex Whites came in the COMC package, joining the growing pile of Alex White 2011 parallels from Topps Update and Bowman Draft.
