Clearing out the Scan Folder
Some recent additions I have wanted to post, starting with a rare purchase from everyone's favorite auction site, I have been trying to track one of these down as I believe it is the only cardboard evidence of the Bruins 2019 Winter Classic Uniform that was work after the Classic, notice the lack of a Shamrock patch on the shoulder and obviously the date. I'm a laundry guy as you can see here.

TCDB Trade (aka Tradin' with Canadians)
My first trade with fellow Canuck and big time trader over on TCDB, sandyrusty. Spending some time on the trade/want list is starting to pay off with some bigger trades, and this was one of the bigger ones I have done. Starting with finishing off the 1994 O-Pee-Chee Rockies team set. I didn't even know about this set until a few years ago, nice to have it done.

TCDB Trade with an International Flair
As my collection and want-list get slowly added to TCDB, I am starting to get back to were I was with zistle, mainly getting more than just Rockies cards. The most recent trade from there had a good stack of WBC cards to increase my Canadian baseball collection, along with a Munenori Kawasaki, because who doesn't love Munenori Kawasaki.

Retro Box Break Preview - 1996 SP
I hadn't ripped much wax in a while, and after being scared of by the high cost of 2016 Upper Deck CFL and having a good paypal balance after selling of a few old PS2 games, I decided on a box of 1996 Upper Deck SP. One of my favorite design of the 90's, or really ever, I guess I am a sucker for wood grain. I started with 5 packs and stopped to make a post, might as well spread it out as my posts have been few and far between, and have a cold Banquet while I do it.

Last of the Denver Loot.
Along with catching a few Rockies games while in Denver, I managed to find my way down to Bill's Sports Collectibles, and picked up a few things. The big score for me was a couple Rockies magazines, these are full of photos of old obscure Rockies that make for some good custom card material. With some time to kill I dug through a few boxes of 10 cards for $20 and while probably overpaying at $2.00, it was fun to spend some time in a big store dedicated to something other than hockey.

A Swing and a Trade
A trade proving one man's junk is another man's wantlist. In return for a pile of early 1990's Donruss, the fine human being behind Swing and a Pop-up send me a pile of stuff from my Zistle.com list including Tom Glavine and Barry Bonds rookie cards along with a pile of the usual suspects seen above and below.

Small Sportlots April 2013
Another small Sportlots order, I noticed the seller lowered the price on the Toys 'r us Purple Ramon Hernandez, probably the hardest to find of the retail parallels, so the search began to find more cards to even out the shipping. I can't believe I didn't pick up the 2011 Gypsy Queen of Gary Carter in an Expos uniform until now, I love seeing Expos jerseys in newer products. I already had the Craig Counsell base but not the foil, that completes the Craig Counsell Rockies Rainbow. Jim Abbott was a player I collected as a kid and didn't have a card of him with the Brewers until now, it fits into the "pitchers batting" collection and is my first 1999 Upper Deck card. Brandon Inge fits into the catchers with hockey masks collection featuring a pretty decent paint job on his 2000 Just card.
